SADD Hosts Successful Hygiene Drive in Honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service

NASHUA, N.H. – The SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) chapter of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua successfully held a Hygiene Drive in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, bringing together the local community in support of those in need.

Thanks to the generous donations from community members, the drive resulted in the creation of over 30 hygiene kits, which will be distributed to various local nonprofits serving individuals and families in need. The remainder of the collected items will be placed in the Boys & Girls Club’s very own Catie’s Closet, where they will be available for members to access and utilize.

“We are so grateful for the outpouring of support from the community,” said Kaitlyn Bannister, Director of Social Emotional Wellness and SADD Advisor for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua. “This event not only helped provide essential hygiene products to local individuals but also gave our members an opportunity to honor Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of service and community involvement.”

The Hygiene Drive was a testament to the power of local collaboration, as the Boys & Girls Club continues to engage its members and the wider Nashua community in service-driven initiatives. By coming together to help others, the Club upholds its mission to inspire and enable young people to reach their full potential.
