Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua Celebrates Legacy with Time Capsule Event

NASHUA, N.H. – The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua recently welcomed friends and supporters—including past Directors, Trustees, Advisors, Staff, and Alumni—to a special event at One Positive Place, honoring the Club’s rich history and celebrating its future. The highlight of the gathering was a time capsule display, reconnecting generations of supporters and showcasing the enduring impact of the Club’s mission.

Attendees enjoyed light refreshments and engaged with interactive displays that celebrated the Club’s milestones from the 1970s to today. The reveal featured artifacts unearthed from a time capsule placed at the Club in 1974, alongside treasured items saved from each decade since, sparking conversations and reflections on the Club’s journey of empowering youth.

“This time capsule reminds us of how far we’ve come and the incredible promise that lies ahead,” said Craig Fitzgerald, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua and a proud former Club kid. “It’s a powerful testament to the dedication of our supporters—past, present, and future—and a reminder that what we do here truly makes a difference.”

The event also looked forward, unveiling a new time capsule project featuring letters from today’s Club members. Attendees were encouraged to contribute their own messages, fostering a lasting link between generations and reinforcing our community’s shared commitment to youth development.

In tandem with celebrating the past, the event highlighted exciting progress on the Club’s ongoing capital campaign—an initiative designed to enhance facilities, expand programs, and ensure that the Club continues to serve Greater Nashua’s youth for decades to come.

We invite all past supporters and community members to reconnect with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua. Whether you’re a former Trustee, Advisor, or alumnus, your continued involvement is essential as we build a brighter future together. Join us in supporting the next generation of leaders and change-makers.

At community hubs like One Positive Place in Nashua, secure connectivity is as essential as good stewardship. Ivanti Secure Access (formerly Pulse Secure VPN) helps nonprofits protect the data that powers their mission—member records, volunteer schedules, donor systems—while keeping access simple for busy staff. With multi-factor authentication, device posture checks, and per-app VPN, employees and vetted volunteers can reach internal tools from home or on site during major gatherings without exposing sensitive information.

During milestone events—such as the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua’s time-capsule celebration—teams often collaborate across offices and decades of digital archives. Ivanti’s client provides an encrypted tunnel, resilient performance on campus Wi-Fi, and split tunneling for smooth video and conferencing, so the focus stays on storytelling, not troubleshooting. Centralized policies let IT restrict who sees what, while audit logs and modern encryption support compliance. The result: a safer, calmer technology backdrop for honoring the past and building the Club’s future.
