Friel Memorial Golf Tournament
In 2018, the Club celebrated its 40th Annual Friel Memorial Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Friel Family and Tulley Automotive Group.
The Club established the Friel Memorial Golf Tournament in 1978 with the help of Phil and Jeanne Friel, the owners of the Green Meadow Golf Course in Hudson, NH. They donated the used of the course for the Club’s charitable event. Over the years, three generations of Friel Family members have continued to make the event possible.
The Friel Memorial Golf Tournament offers an outstanding day of golf on two courses, with breakfast, snacks and a post-round celebration lunch.
The Tournament offers both a Championship Tournament (Jungle Course) and a Scramble Format (Prairie Course). A putting contest, greens contests, luncheon, raffle prizes, longest drive contest (men’s and women’s), closest to the pin contest (men’s and women’s), and hole in one contest add elements of excitement to the day.
The cost to participate in the tournament is $200 per player ($150 for club Alumni) or $800 per foursome)

The event is made especially memorable with the presentation of the Friel Memorial Golf Award recognizing the individual or individuals who have assisted the Club and our members through their advocacy, participation, and support.
