Specialized Programs
The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua
offers age-appropriate programming for
youth, ages 5 to 18.

Kids Club
The Kids Club program has been an established part of our Club for nearly 10 years. Our objective is to meet the growing needs of school aged children, ages 5 to 9, through structured care.

We offer before and after school care (for some schools), and care during school vacations and summer vacations for interested families.

The Kids Club is a state-licensed program and gives children ages 5 – 9 structure and supervision. This program follows all state guidelines and is supported by the Kids Club Director, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua's Administration, a Childcare Committee, and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua's Executive Committee.

The Kids Club is unique because it has access to the resources of the Boys & Girls Club for its young participants. Programming includes homework help, aquatics, gym time, arts & crafts, games, and computer lab time with an instructor.

Youth for Unity
To help educate young people across the country about the importance of tolerance and diversity, Boys & Girls Clubs of America has joined forces with The Allstate Foundation to develop Youth for Unity, a diversity education program designed to combat prejudice, bigotry and discrimination. Youth for Unity is the umbrella title for a comprehensive set of programmatic interventions that will allow Clubs to help members appreciate and understand our society's diversity, recognize unfairness and take personal leadership in confronting bias.

Teen Initiative
Teens are not simply "older children" they have reached a developmental stage that requires a different strategic approach to recruitment, retention, marketing, staff interaction, space utilization and programming. In addition, the needs and developmental abilities of younger teens (13 to 15) vary from those of older teens (16 to 18). The Teen Initiative provides program resources, grant funding, training and technical assistance to Club staff and the board of directors so they can deepen their impact with teens in their communities and serve them more effectively. This initiative is funded by Taco Bell Foundation.
