Scholarship Families
 Thank you to the following Scholarship Families
The Pauline Komisarek Scholarship Fund - The Komisarek Scholarship Fund was established in 1999 from the estate of Pauline Komisarek. Funds will be awarded each year to further the education of a Boys and Girls Club member.
The McCartney-Walsh Scholarship Fund - Established in 1997, the McCartney-Walsh Scholarship Fund awards funds to students each year, as well as maintaining an endowment fund so that there will always be educational aid available in the future.
The Moheban Family Scholarship - The Moheban Family Scholarship Fund was established by Robert and Cynthia Moheban in 1999. Five percent of the Fund will be used annually for a scholarship to a needy and deserving youth at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua to further their education
The Roedel Family Scholarship Fund - Fred Roedel established this fund in 2000 to award funds annually to a Club member who attends Daniel Webster College or a college of their choice.
John D. Varney Scholarship Fund - The Varney Scholarship Fund awards was established in 1993 to honor the memory of John D. Varney. Each year funds are presented to the Club member who displays outstanding sportsmanship and fair play in Club activities.
The Friends Scholarship Fund - A very dedicated professional and committed life-long anonymous resident established the Friends Scholarship Fund in 2000. The fund will assist a deserving male youth/youths from the Club to support their choice of post secondary education.
The Barker Scholarship – The fund was established in 2001. This scholarship is available to those Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua members attending an accredited college, university or technical school in New Hampshire.
Bernice Varney Scholarship Fund – The Bernice Varney Scholarship Fund was established in 2003 in memory of Bernice Varney. Each year, $500 will be awarded to a deserving youth.
Goulder Scholarship Fund – Morton Goulder established this fund in 2006. Each year, $1,000 will be awarded to a deserving youth.
St. Laurent Higher Education Mentoring Fund – Established in 2003 by Robert and Priscilla St. Laurent, this endowment helps fund the Higher Education Mentoring Program to support activities that encourage members to consider higher education such as college, trade school and community college. Each year $1,000 will be awarded to the year’s Youth of the Year
